It's Me!

Happy New Year! I have actually started building a new BEAM bot. I almost have it done. I will need to rework the power for it, but I should get it done by next week and get it posted shortly after. Please bear with me... I am trying to get back into the building mode.

I have quite a few projects in the hopper and I really want to start designing circuits and etching boards again. But that is going to take a bit longer. I will need to get some more etching fluid (ferric chloride) and rebuild some tools.

Well, another couple of weeks has gone by. The good news is that our condo in Anchorage has been sold! But the bad news is that we are STILL setting up stuff in the new house. There is so much to do. I actually fired up my soldering iron and hot melt glue gun to fix a broken bot only to find out that I sold my glue gun. The good news is that my soldering iron still works.

It is looks like we are going to need some more cabinets in the office. I did get all of the curtain rods and curtains up. And before you ask... yes, I did out shopping with the wife looking for them along with needed furniture for the house. Like I said, lots to do.

At this point, I have no idea as to when I can start a project. BUT, I am itching to start one... Perhaps I will find a small little project that I can knock out in a couple of hours.

Thanks for being patient,

Keith

Well another two weeks has passed... The office is just about done. Judy is really happy with the way it is turning out. I am really hoping to get stuff going within the next two weeks. Who knows, I may be able to even join my gaming group!

I will start moving some of my stuff into the office this weekend. Wish me luck. We do need to hang more shelves and figure out where to put some furniture.

More to come,

Well, it is October. We finally have an offer on our condo in Anchorage and we are will settling into our new house here in Sparks Nevada. So, I haven't started any projects yet.

I still need to get my lab area setup, but the priority is for the home office to get sorted out first. It is getting there. Moving into a new house brings a lot of work with it: I have installed solar lights, and motion detectors around the back yard. Installed curtains and blinds (and more to go)... Then I can set the lab up and get to work.

I do have an idea for my first project though. It seems that pidgeons like our new house. They are quite messy. I am formulating a non-lethal idea to scare them off... Interested? Check back later...
